Welcome to May – where our Flower Shop is open for business and bugs are all around! Students are starting to learn about insects including butterflies, ants, and bees!  We’ll be matching and sorting colors, finding their homes (hive, hill, etc.) and counting groups of bugs.  We will continue all month long exploring new vocabulary, singing songs and getting our hands dirty. Happy Spring, everyone! Good news - the Yummy Café has repeat customers!  Although we are currently serving dinner, we had been making sandwiches of all varieties, depending what’s on the pretend menu for the day.  Some friends like pickle sandwiches and some like tomato and cheese!  Everyone was offered a chance to practice spreading jelly or cream cheese on a bagel or to make a sandwich with lunchmeat (all food preferences shared at the beginning of the year were 100% honored). ...

Hello! How is it already March and nearing the end of the second trimester?! Room 211 has been busy! Updates for Room 211: Valentine’s Day will be celebrated with “Friendship Parties” in your child’s general education class on Friday, February 11th.  Please look for more information directly from your grade level teacher (Mrs. Cho or Mrs. Parson).
