Hello wonderful families,

On Tuesday, November 7th, Challenger will be hosting our annual Veteran’s Day assembly to honor those who have served in the US Armed Forces.  If you have a photo of a loved one who has served in one of the many branches of the US Armed Forces, please email your photo to proudfootk@issaquah.wednet.edu along with a brief description including:

  1. Name of Veteran
  2. Branch and/or years of service
  3. Veteran’s relation to Challenger student

 

These photos will be included in the Veteran’s Day assembly slideshow.  

In addition, please extend an invitation to attend the assembly to your friends or family members who are Veterans. We would love to honor them in person.

 

If your veteran will be attending our assembly, please RSVP to our Dean of Students, Linda Ogden ogdenl@issaquah.wednet.edu 

Photos and RSVPs are due by Friday, November 3rd.  The assembly is Tuesday, November 7th from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the Challenger Multi-Purpose Room.
