10 Jun End of Year Wrap Up
How is it already the middle of June? Time flies when you work as hard as our classroom does! Over the last couple of weeks, we have been busy with our first-grade field trip, finishing our final math and literacy lessons, engaging in our last Motor Language Group of the year, participating in Field Day, and so much more. I have uploaded the last of the photos for this year. Please be sure to download any you’d like to save as I will be clearing the entire gallery by the end of summer break.
We still have a busy week ahead and one last whole-school celebration on Tuesday, June 20th. Our last day of school is a shortened day that ends at 11:30am. Lunch will not be offered this day, but please send in an AM snack and water bottle for your child. If your child will not be attending school through June 20th, please let me know in advance so I can be sure to send all personal belongings home prior to summer.
Looking ahead to next year, grades 1-5 start school on August 29th. The annual Meet the Teacher event is scheduled for August 28th from 10am-11am. Also, Curriculum Night is set for August 31st, with grades K-2 scheduled for 5:30pm.
Program staff are all so proud of the growth that was achieved this school year. Thank you all for trusting in us to care for and work with your child. We look forward to partnering again after a restful summer! Please look for progress reports to be emailed out on June 20th.
