A Message from ISD

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated weather conditions this week. We want to honor the important parent-teacher conferences that were canceled due to weather, by rescheduling them for Monday, Dec. 12, 2022. As a result, there will be no school for elementary students on Dec. 12.

When will conferences be rescheduled?

We plan to keep the conference schedule the same as planned for Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, and simply move the date to Dec. 12. For example, if your student’s parent-teacher conference was scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 1, it will now be at 1 p.m. on Dec. 12. Teachers will adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate all families.

If your Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, conference was canceled, please expect communication from your student’s teacher.

Are there any school days that need to be made up?

All students will now attend school on Friday, March 17, 2023, our built-in weather make-up day.

Thank you for engaging in this opportunity to cultivate home-to-school connections and participating in conversations regarding student progress. Please contact your student’s teacher if you have further questions.
