Important Dates

Hello, Room 211 Families!  🙂

I’m reaching out with two specific pieces of information:

  1. A message from the Special Services department regarding COVID-19 vaccines.
  2. Important dates

A message from Special Services regarding COVID-19 Vaccines:

Dear Parents:

If you were unable to secure an appointment for your student to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, Special Services has secured sufficient vaccines for all students in LRC-II grades K-6, ages 5-11.  If you have already secured an appointment, please keep your original appointment!  If you do not have an appointment, we will have openings on November 20th from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the district office.  If you’d like an appointment in this time, please email Kristen McTague at Mctaguek@issaquah.wednet.edu.  We will keep a list of students, and you will be welcomed through the process at the district office on 11/20 between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm.  Your student is important to us, and we strive to support the health and wellbeing of our students, their families, our staff and our community.  Please secure your appointment with Ms. McTague by Sunday, November 14th.

Warmly,

Special Services

Thank you for providing weather-appropriate clothing for your child, keeping your child home when they are not feeling well and for continuing to update program staff through your communication notebook.  Our partnership is so important to your child and I appreciate your continued support!  I wanted to remind families of important dates coming up this month and in December.  Please reach out with any questions or if you know in advance that your child will be absent from school.

  • November 9th – Picture Retake Day
  • November 11th – Veterans Day, NO SCHOOL
  • November 24th & 25th – Thanksgiving Break, NO SCHOOL
  • November 29th – Progress Reports sent home and/or emailed

  • December 1st & 2nd – Conferences, NO SCHOOL
  • December 20th – Winter Break, NO SCHOOL until January 3rd.

Finally, I will provide a classroom update later this month, but I did add a few photos from yesterday to our website.

Have a good evening,

Jaime
